HelpRange is a European company. Documents are encrypted and stored in Frankfurt, every link has its own access rules, and your team sees every view. Here is exactly how it works.
Uploaded files and their converted versions are stored in Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt, Germany (eu-central-1).
AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS for every connection. Files are opened only through the HelpRange viewer under the rules you set.
Specific people only (e-mail verification), passcodes, expiry dates, views limits, IP restrictions per folder and revoking access at any time.
Download & print blocking for every file type, dynamic watermarks with the viewer's e-mail, no forwarding and screenshot protection in the mobile app.
Every view with viewer, time, country and pages read – per link, document and data room. Export to CSV.
Two-step login (authenticator app codes), Google sign-in, sessions per device. AI assistants connect with OAuth 2.1; tokens are stored only as hashes and can be revoked.
Every request – web, API, MCP – is checked against your own team and folders; another team's documents are never reachable.
The viewer shows only files stored in HelpRange; links to outside websites open through a warning page instead of being framed under our domain.
HelpRange never stores card numbers.

Documents are opened only through the viewer by the people you share them with. HelpRange staff access production data only to operate the service or when you ask for support.
